Overview
This three-person project was the first-year final project that brought together the theory and skills obtained in first year such as 'Analysis and Design of Circuits', 'Programming for Engineers' and 'Mathematics: Principles and Engineering Applications'.
At that time, this project was the largest I have ever done and it was particularly challenging due to the start of the Covid pandemic. The team was fully remote and everyone was unfamiliar with each other. It was really a learn-on-the-fly project in terms of technical application and, most importantly, soft skills like project management and remote collaboration.
At the end of the project, it was very satisfying and amazing to see what the team accomplished, especially as I thought this project was one that was way over our heads. A lot of mistakes were made but, ultimately, many skills were learnt.
