Overview
Bombe, named after the WWII codebreaking machine, was an ongoing research and engineering project focused on improving how teachers design and manage assessments. Having been a tutor for most of my time in high school and university, I experienced firsthand how archiac the process still is.
The system was developed in close collaboration with educators and underwent pilot trials with a small number of schools. These trials focused on understanding real classroom workflows and identifying where software can meaningfully reduce friction in the assessment creation process.
